G27 wont fit on my desk

Hey all,

Just built a new rig and bought a g27 to join some AC fun. However my desk is about 1-2cm too thick for the G27 clamps.

Does anyone have any tips or hints?

Currently its looking like ill have to spend $250 on a wheelstand which id rather not do after spending $2500 on a PC.

are the clamps flat?

Sounds a bit odd, but i remember getting my G25 and having the same problem, turns out there are blocks that clip onto the clamps for people with thin tables, they snap off pretty easily.

I came within about 30 seconds of punching the credit card details in for a wheelstand. Thank fark i didnt!
