The wife and I both laughed pretty hard with the ejection system. I didn't mind the episode.

I enjoyed it more than the Aussie special.

Ricciardo was terrific. Flipping the bird to the guy in the audience. LOL

I enjoyed more than the Aussie special too. Also thought Ricciardo was a bit awkward though. His lap was amazing - it just didn't look that quick at all.

I'd imagine everyone else involved with the show will be pretty pissed off.

I think we all knew that if it was ever cancelled it'd be because of something he did.

It's on suspension pending a review into the incident. Top Gear makes the BBC a shit load of money.

apparently there was no catering on a location shoot so Clarkson got angry and punched the guy who was supposed to have organised it. Could have just nicked down to the servo and grabbed a pie like everybody else in the world has too. Makes you wonder what hotels and stuff they stay in when they supposedly do their challenges and sleep in tents.

yep, i can't see them roughing it these days. I think in the past when the show felt more real, they would have had some more genuine experiences. Sadly, I think Clarkson has become a self entitled prick. We'll have to wait and see I guess, but I doubt Top Gear, or whatever they may call the next installation at a different network will go away completely just yet. If indeed it is cancelled at all.

Clarkson has changed his Twitter bio to read: “I am probably a presenter on the BBC2 motoring show, Top Gear”.

I'm just glad all this has happened now, and not 6 years ago when the show was fresh and I'd have withdrawals in between seasons. It was all getting a bit stale anyway i thought. Still, I'll miss it if that's the end of it all.
