Im not expecting anyone to fix anything as far as coding and shit, I thought there might be a simple reason for my error that someone might be aware of its cause.
The old tapatalk was fine, dont fix whats not broken!

Why??? It's a simple plugin to the forum & doesn't affect anything or anyone except those that choose to use it...

There's nothing Kev can do anyway apart from apply the plugin. We just have to either wait for them to fix it or use the mobile version.

The new forum software is responsive so you shouldn't need an app. I'll have a look when I get a chance though. Off to Silverstone for the WEC :)

Read back through this thread. Kev is having to check code and root around. I say he shouldnt have to. He already does a lot behind the scenes that people dont see. If Tapatalk was the ONLY way to view the forums, maybe then it would be worthwhile, but how many people have actually tried it in a browser since the forum update?

I have and yeah it works well, its just that I visit 6 forums regularly and its good to be able to access them all from the same spot. It appears theres not much Kev can do about these issues if they are with the plugin and not the implementation of it. Ill just have to wait until tapatalk get their shit together.

It's not a question of how well the forum works in a browser... it's how it looks & functions on such a small device compared TT... As it's crap using it on the phone & Tablet browser... So I assume you haven't tried it yourself...?
But like I said I don't expect Kev to spend time on it just that when & if a new update to the plugin is released that he's happy to install it on the forum... He's work is always appreciated if you look at the response he has gotten to previous forum upgrades etc. Thanks Kev.

Kev installed the latest update overnight and it's fixed my issues. I had to clear my app cache before i worked but now it's back to normal and i can see the forum listing again.

It's only taken me about 3 weeks to get motivated to check what my issue was as mine was still not working....... Turns out I am running Tapatalk Pro and ARSE just stopped working, installed the Free version and it's working as expected. Hate the interface of this version :(

Ah, mine doesn't work either so I assume that's the issue as I don't have the different interface. I just use browser now. Not as convenient but them's the breaks.

after they completely ruined the old interface they have been slowly listening to all the complaints and are trying to revamp it. They updated it again the other day, only minor but a bit better.

Yep I was using the Pro version & had to revert to the free one to access here.
It seems they only fixed the phpBB issue on the non-pro version as the Pro version is longer supported by the devs. :(

Anyone else get that ridiculous email telling you to PM the dev guy with your details to get the VIP version?

Yep, I got it.
But it wasn't until this thread I went back to the email and clicked on the link to find out I need to pm the dev.

Fuck that.
