Hang in there and have fun Lakers. We all start at the back. Some of the guys here use to flog me at Grand Prix Legends. Now days, at least I can keep them in sight for a while.
It's great fun when you find the right group of people

Yeah good thing is pushes you to improve more .
Look forward to getting in more praccy time once my house reno's are done rather than just jumping in .
Gents, because we have turned up tyre wear, you will most likely need a trye change.
if you have never done it before, it is a bit of a cluster fuck. i threw this quick and dirty video together to help those that have never done a pit stop.
I'm going to just run full race fuel from the start therefore only need to worry about tyres for weather conditions.
I'll leave the setting on for default to weather conditions.

Any questions, ask tonight.
You need to make short videos after each season with Norbs style commentating. Such a smooth voice
Both kids still awake after 8pm fucked whatever chance I had of racing tonight.
Qualified with only 5 or so laps worth of practice. Came back to the PC to find my car against the wall and the pack a good 20s ahead. Started heading up mountain straight and as I got to Griffins Bend, I was sent back to the lobby. Either Steam shit itself on me, or Norbs booted me from the server (rightfully so mind you).
I don't know if it was the lack of practice that caused it, but that was easily the least enjoyable race that I can recall. I was mis-shifting all over the place and couldn't get any sense of rhythm with the car (the accelerated tyre wear probably didn't help that). I can't recall ever having so many problems with shifting. Maybe the shifter needs a recalibration, maybe I need to do more than 5 laps of practice.
Hopefully next time out I'll be able to make a fist of things.

I realise its probably gonna be something different for this in 2 weeks time but would be great to have another stab at that ...Those cars around bathhurst were really cool .
I found it a tad boring as I was 30 seconds away from anyone for most of the laps but still good fun. Good test of concentration.
The Aston DBR1 was fun in the rain for the short run I had. Had me on my toes though. I came over the crest on conrod and it got light on me, wiggled her hips all the way into the chase. I swear it was aquaplaning too.
I had fun. I took a late stop and lost out to Cursed in the end. Stuffed up the next run up the hill and couldn't save it from there. The beemer was fun to drive though!
I can't believe I missed this race. I wake up this morning, remembering it's Thursday and think oh hang on I didn't race last night. And then bamb, I realised I completely forgot about it somehow. Worse part was just a few hours earlier I did some practice to find out how much fuel was needed. What an idiot I am!!

The GT86 race is on again next Wednesday.
Hopefully, there will be racing of some sort all Wednesdays.
