Little Help From Fellow Muso's
I'd like to ask any fellow muso's here if they could keep an eye out for a Trace Elliot guitar amp (2 quad's + head) and an ESP 7-string guitar going cheap.
They were stolen from my garage on Saturday night.
(along with a Marshall quad and 2 Marshall combo's)
This was in Brisbane but they could easily be anywhere in Australia by now.
Once I've spoken to my flatmate I'll post more details (it's his Tracey and ESP, we don't really care about the Marshall's) but Trace Elliot guitar amps are rare and the ESP is unobtainable now.
I really just want to track them down and make them the subject of my sig!

I'll check out the stores in Canberra. There's only 3 stores and only 1 of those sells much in the way of second hand stuff. Otherwise if you've given the serial numbers to the cops, hopefully they shouldn't turn up in Cashies. An ESP 7 string would stick out like dogs balls anywhere so will definitely keep an eye out.
by the way - major bummer dude. My bass is irreplacable. I'd go apeshit if someone stole it.

UPDATE
I know who the scum are. (my flatmates ex and a now ex-friend!!!)
The gears gone (through some drug dealer) and the evidence is only circumstantial as far as the cops are concerned but I have no doubts.
Once the heat has cooled down a bit I'll administer some justice, Marv style.
On a related topic, my flatmate isn't too upset as he went out and bought a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifyer as a replacement (the amp he always wanted anyway )
Just beware of someone called Steve Heron!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

A couple of weeks after it happened, the neighbour mentioned that they heard a young couple hanging around outside (thought she recognised the voices and she has heard them both before), making some strange noises and driving off in a Falcon stationwagon.r8response wrote:Bacchulum how'd ya find out that it was them??
The only "young couple" who knew the gear was in the garage is them, they even had to re-arrange plenty of stuff to get at some of it (ie. prior knowledge), she owns a Falcon stationwagon fitting the description, and just to prove it was a targeted hit, no other flats in the block were even touched.
All good enough evidence for me.
