Died today aged 85 
He was great.. My earliest memories of TV comedy was the Two Ronnies..

They were my earliest TV comedians too. I still cry laughing at some of the skits

I remember the regular comedy diet in my household as a kid was: Paul Hogan, Benny Hill, The Two Ronnies and Dave Allen at Large.

Seems Ronnie was to be Knighted in June. Sounds like he had motor neurone disease.
