PRINCE has died suddenly at the age of 57, just days after he was rushed to hospital with the flu.
The body of the singer was discovered overnight at his Paisley Park compound in suburban Minneapolis, Minnesota, TMZ reports.
Such an underrated Guitarist, Producer Songwriter Performer, the whole deal

I'm guessing Bowie was on vocals, Prince on just about every other instrument, but what did that Jewish guy play?
How did Lemmy not rate a mention here?

Aids was my first guess when I heard it because he shagged so much back in the day. Then I saw this, wouldn't surprise me if it was true. Healthy 57 year olds don't normally die from the the flu.

My Sis was in a festival in the UK many years ago and Prince showed up and played on the main stage for hours. He wasn't on the set list and his name was never mentioned, just showed up. He played guitar and sang and mucked around and was just generally brilliant apparently.
Legend.

Keep saying it 2016 would have to be right up there being the most brutal year for musicians.

We're not even 1/3 of the way through the year yet.

if you have 30mins spare watch this, Kevin Smith gives a fascinating insight into Prince's life when he went to do some work for him.

Argh not his Purple Highness. Learned about it awfully too. saw a mural first thing this morning of deceased 2016 celebs and there, right next to Alan Rickman is Prince. I'm like WTF Prince ain't dead! If only it were so.

Dave Chappelle is one funny bastard. That skit always broke me up (Rick James is even better) the bit where he dunks and then defies gravity cause hey he's Prince just kills me
Also thanks for the Kevin Smith vid Rod, I'd not seen that in many years. He's a born storyteller that bloke.
