What are the rules/restrictions? Fuel is set to what amount? And is that the same for Qual?

Fuel is set to 45 or something for both will and race I think. When I say better tyres I meant newer tyres and tyre wear is on.

fuel is set to 45 litres for all sessions. fuel is being controlled mainly for the enduros, i just decided to be consistent for the whole series.
damaged is set to 40%
tyres allowed out is set to 3
you may pit as many times as you like
there is only one tyre choice for this car

Yes. Those results need to be run through a gentle cycle before the points are allocated. ;)

Wd Santa, that save on Lap 8, race 2 alone would have earned a trophy in my book. Again sorry for the punt Norbs, I watched it a few times and had I been a little younger I might have been able to dab the brakes but the cogs have lost a few teeth

:melt:

If anyone has replay of race 1, could I have it? I forgot to save it wouldn't mind watching the dice with Slow and Hutchy. Had a good view of some battles in both races

Had fun back racing again. I couldnt find any pace in both qualifying sessions and lapped much quicker in the races. Realised I was pushing too hard against the clock and had to constantly remind myself to drive smooth. Pressure was on with Doc in race 2.. that was a blast until i binned it on the last corner... held on to him and began to reel him in slightly before binning it again :/ could have been a ding dong battle with pain and the poleman at the end!

I finally sorted the car out by lap two of the last race (after having windows 10 trying to install just before I got on the server) then I ran wide after a tussle with Hylas, weaved my way through the crash on the hairpin and got disqualified for not slowing down enough when I was coasting across the startline...
Aside from that, it was a fun night.

Was happy with last night, obviously. Had some cracker battles with "The Switchback" Norbs. Thoroughly enjoyed the battles. Race 1 saw me muscling past Boxhead who was making it extremely difficult to get around so took an aggressive line and Boxhead let me through, not without making me sweat for it. Had an oops on lap 8 race 2 and then had c.j climbing all over me while trying to get past Norbs. You had that 3rd sector down pat Norbs and couldn't set myself up to get you, nice work.

Looking forward to next week.

Thanks for an intense night guys, sorry for my absolute noob move at T1 in the first race, apologies Hylas, I think you copped the brunt of my stupidity.

Very happy to complete the first race without any more offs after that, the 2nd race was not so good, couldn't find a rhythm which resulted in a couple of offs with the last one touching the wall, that ended my night with stuffed aero, bent steering and last place.

Looking forward to the next round.

Mixed emotions for me. Super happy and completely stunned that I pulled pole both sessions.

Very disappointed in my races. Santa was obviously a tad quicker in the races, but i could stay in front or close behind, until the tyres started to go away. Check the stats, looks like race 2 all the fastest sectors were done in the first 4 laps. Race one 2 of the 3 were done in the first 4 laps.

I seemed to be slowest by a fair margin in that middle sector. Looking at the Post It note on my desk this morning, I think I have figured out why and another mystery of last night.

ARB/3 RW/2

I think I wrote down the set up tips that Box suggested arse about face. Sanat, that could explain why you struggled to pass me down the straights, and was jammed up my blurter through that middle section.

Race 1 I binned it lap 9 when the lights went out here and my USB hub dropped out. So no headphones. Chucking it off the track whilst in 2nd is a killer.

Race 2 I made a small error in the last turn on lap 12. C.J. tapped me from behind and off I went. Was purely a racing incident. I then tried my hardest to catch Doc, but another podium eluded me. Fark!

Thanks Box for organising and all that showed up. I didnt think we would get better racing than the Escorts, but we might just.

I'd like to applaud Norbs, not so much for his racing results, but because he's now completely comfortable discussing his affinity for and pride in getting pole amongst friends. No judgement inferred.

My races? Ended up down the back due to some stupid loss of attention in race 1 and in race 2 from overcooking the last corner and causing a coming together. Sorry to anyone I inconvenienced. I never used to be this crap at online racing. One day I'll get it right again.

I think all round it was pretty good racing. Lapses in concentration aside and I think we all had one or two, it was good battling, the racing was clean and top fun. First time out in these cars against real people I think we all did pretty well. Shonky made a meal of turn 1, race 1 but something that we are all guilty of at least once? I could say it was a shame because I would loved to have raced against Box and En-J in that race, was about my pace but I had two moments later in the race anyway. Which in the end turned in to good fun racing against Cursed, Slow, Hutchy and Hylas. I put the pressure on Cursed at the second chicane, sorry mate I was giving you room but you were making me work for it

Norbs I have no fukn idea how you were able to be so fast in Correntaio? I could stay with you most of the track but that corner you would pull half a second on me or more to be out of drafting distance by the time we got back to the straight.

And Slow, you turned the wick up when I got back in behind you, I seriously thought I could catch you by the straight, two laps later you were still in front and I was frothing looking for car speed to gain an advantage. Bad luck at Bucine mate, was top racing before that.

Good turnout and an enjoyable night.

Shonky, you may of messed up T1 in Race 1 but from memory (haven't looked at the replay yet) you provided some close racing with me for most of that race so it all worked out :) I was trying to push harder to make up time but in the end it just cost me positions each time I went off. I think i had about 6 offtracks in Race 1.

Race 2 was pretty good but there were a few times where I lost concentration and had little off's. I'll just have to get some more practice in before next round ;)

Good racing all, cya next round :D

Now you know how I felt at Arabbiata 1 and 2. Every time through there going into Scarperia I was shitting blue sparks.

I frustrated you there and Santa at Bucine going back onto the straight.

I have been watching the replays today and there are so many different lines in those corners. And we all take them slightly differently.

Great combo Box.

Big thumbs up for Box, slow and all the others that have helped with testing. A lot goes on behind the scenes and I reckon it has helped my racing this year not having to worry about running things.

thanks guys for having me along for race one last night. Sorry not upto doing more than one race, great car, percentage wise I wasn't too slow, and happy to get my almost "normal 13th place"
Got a little worried on the last lap with Bails reappering in the mirror, but made it home holding my place AND not lapped. See you next round, will pick a better skin than "sliver" for next one.
Cheers, Bruce
