if anyone likes golf on their pc, this is the go

its free
plays a nice game of golf
has a virtual club grounds 'sim style' to walk around, chat to others, upgrade your kit etc

I had a round last night and it was a lot of fun. especially if you are in voice chat with your playing partner. Last night Haze and I were chatting using skype while playing a round. plenty of scope for some arse sledging in here.

just finished a leisurely 18 holes.

got beat by Vksol but finished equal with Haze.

Skype rang while I was putting. bloody Johnno put me off and I 4 putted

oh and best of all I won enough money to buy a shirt woohoo

Eh? how did you update you chatacter. I could not seem to do it in character creation, and I didn't see any sign of a shop at all. Hell I blew 1000 on green fees for no reason I could see at all.

nto bad at all. the putting is hard, but not impossible.

Im at lvl 4 after 1 game. Still 28 handicap.

I still cant seem to get a round happening. I have smacked the pracy balls all over the place to get the 1000 for green fees (thats per game) and yet every time I got into a game (if its not locked or just in gallary mode) I am told I dont have the funds to play. And what happens if you have one round of golf. which wastes all the cash you have. Do you then just go the the pracy range and smack balls about. If so that sucks, I want to play the game, not fuck about running all over the place, and boaring myself shitless on the driving range. Bah, I am as pissed off now as the I was the last time I actually played golf.

one of the blokes (in the top of the world iirc) can give you 3 free tickets to the beginner course if you dont have funds. he can keep giving em to you up til level 10 i think

What'a bout meeeeeee, it isnt fair, now I want my share.

Every bloody round is full. And I will be buggered if I am going to start a game and wait in the hopes that at some stage in my life time someone turns up to play, let alone someone I actually know. God Damn this game is frustrating.

Its now 3 and a half hours that I have been waiting to play a game :/ If this game was a CD it would be approaching the ionesphear about now.

At least they got the realism factor right, golf is the most frustrating game in the world. But 1 good shot out of 18 holes can make you go home happy.

Oi! I got par at least 3 times - and only went 5 over par on 1 hole!
