Apparently AHDR will have early access to the new France & Paris routes for all their events next week. :D

Also we should look at an ARSE-All-In-Ride & do this once these new routes become publicly available from Aug 10: REBEL ROUTE: TOUTES LES ROUTES

hahaha!!! That's classic CLP, how did you stay concentrated doing a TT with those?

I did the survey a week or so ago, can't remember much about it tbh.

PB up AdZ for me last night, 54.34 was 2 mins off old PB. :D

one of the tables was leaked on Twitter and put up on the Zwift forum before the survey came out.. also caused a bit of a stir.

I haven't got the survey, but Miss V did. Apparently it was rage inducing. :/

It can't have been the same survey as I did then. As I didn't see anything about changing the subscription model in the one I did.

Apparently it was just the other day. I had a 1 question survey prior to that (maybe a week or two before?)

V summed up the latest survey as feeling like it was them trying to answer the question "how much more money can we squeeze out of you?"

Hmmm, they are looking for more money it seems.

Time to check the other apps.

Unless it stays around the current price and I can still ride Watopia.

i am really struggling with their (repeated) cash grabs and do wonder what/when the tipping point will be to see people switch en masse to another platform.

The justification seems to be to fund development. But really, what major development is actually needed of the platform? Compared to race sims, there's no fancy physics engine to tweak, the game engine does what it's supposed to do already, and new worlds/roads seem to make use of an existing library of cartoony objects with very few location specific features.

Maybe i don't know enough about game development to be qualified to make any statement about this stuff, but there seems to be a lot of money required to develop stuff that doesn't seem to require much developing. <shrug>

1.2 million users reported a few months back. At $20 a month, that is some cash flow.

Saw a video recently where the guy was using the same idea to knock off multiple routes without having to restart zwift. He created the next meetup while riding, timed it to start soon after the current route and signed up. After finishing the current route he would click Join Meetup for the next one. When ending the session it would upload each meetup as a separate ride on strava.

I think it's quicker and easier to just restart the app but it could be easier this way if you want to knock off multiple badges with other people.

Finally especially since I wasn't expecting to get it. I saw I was doing 92km/hr in the pack so put some watts down just as we hit a 15% section. :D
I also recommend these LEQP Provence Badge Hunter Series rides, this one especially made getting the Achterbahn route badge more palatable: https://www.strava.com/activities/3952801864

noticed earlier that Pacers had been added to Watopia under the Futureworks label.

this is probably a low effort addition since at the very start of Zwift's life the entire Zwift world was populated with bots that you could ride with.. but anyway.. it's there if you want it :)

The blue ghosts?

I think you must have been on Zwift longer than me Carl. I can remember them, but not very well.

Hopefully all the Tron bike riders ride with them... I don't see the point nor do I like them.

But that's just moo (my own opinion).

Why can't we have an option to not show them?
