Aren't they are actually just new courses with a tiny bit of link road connecting existing roads together?
It's still good to add variety & will give me some more badges to earn when I get back into Zwift next year in the colder months. :vibes:

I wouldnt say tiny bits of road. There is a lot of work gone into at least 2 of them.

The Epic KOM Bypass is a great little road. And that 20km loop is a good work out.

That's kind of why it has been described as "new roads and courses" .. ie. new link roads enable the new course routes.

I might give one or two a go later on.. though the weather outside looks magnificent, so Zwift time might be limited :P

Not sure if people saw the recent update. you can now finish and save an activity, then start another without quitting and restarting Zwift. what an age we live in.

I think there was also some (drafting) changes rolled out that impact how rider groups act.

Damnit! Now I have to look at Zwift's crappy achievements section to find out what routes to take

Having to start a ride before you can see which rides you haven't done yet is the crappiest design ever.

Before it goes down I'll have to make a spreadsheet of routes I haven't done yet so I can at least pick one before starting the session. I've ticked off 49/80 on zwifthub but I'll have to double check them.

true.. but, fair play to the guy. Intended to use Zwift Hub as a project to get into software development; Scores job as a Software Dev.. can't really fault that

Hopefully someone can pick it up and run with it going forward. Realistically, this is the type of functionality we should expect, if not within Zwift, at the least on the Zwift webpage when you log into your account. Particularly given the amount they're charging per month :(

At last count, I have 4 routes to go to complete them all. None of them really look all that appealing :P

for those with direct drive trainers, remember to check your freehub bearings every now and then. Mine seized up a few days ago. :'(
Probably most important on the Neo, since it will spin the hub on the downhill. nice way to tear off your derailleur.

Nah, not quite fortunately. I was lucky i recognised what was going on and pre-emptively disconnected the power from the trainer. :)

Bike is due for a service so I'll get them to check mine but I've been running the Neo 'off-grid' for a couple of years now :D

Off grid as in no power? I wont spin down the hills on no power is my understanding.

that is the case.. it's also a little laggy to reduce/increase resistance when resuming pedalling (since you have to generate enough to power the thing!). It's not too bad though. The Tacx Bushido is the same in that sense. You can use it on the roadside to warm up before a race like that.

Yeah, not plugged in - only difference I noticed was it not spinning the wheel when I was going downhill or coasting.
