Last night was good fun. Race 1 I again profited from others falling off the track. In Race 2 I lifted when I shouldn't have and unsettled the car and went for a spin, right into the path of Norbs. The run from the back was fun, but I couldn't concentrate and keep up with the likes of Norbs and Hylas.

I really enjoyed last night. The laps seem to fly by and in the second race, I took 0.6 sec off my PB

It was tense. That was a bumpy fucking track and that car had just enough power to get untidy on the bumps. That hump at T5 T6 had me sideways more times than i care to remember.

Race 2 seeing Bails fly off at T2 had me laughing my balls off.

Was a good night, I had so much feedback coming through my wheel that I was quite exhausted afterwards. Had a few spins that took away my chances for a podium. That last corner got the better of me a few times.

I noticed last night that I'm already wearing through the material on my wheel and it's only a few months old. Wondering what I should do about it. Might have to start wearing some gloves or something, I'm assuming it's mostly due to sweating hands.

I only hang onto my wheel in turns Hylas. At different times last night on the straight, I wasn't hanging on to my wheel. I'd be having a drink or stretching out my hands, when alone of course. I only ever run default FFB in game and put the cars FFB to 66%. It saves my forearms and I don't have too much wear on my near 10 yo G-25. I watched LMP 900 drivers at Le Mans letting go of the wheel on the Mulsanne straight to stretch their hands, so always try to get my FFB so I can do that too.

I have the FFB on the Lotus 72 turned down to about 65%. At 100% it gets a bit punchy on the Clubsport V2.

Yeah I get turning it down might help with some pain but I do like to feel it, I find that if I lower it that I turn in too much and dont catch slides as often. But I do some longer runs in iracing on weekend's and they can become quite a sweaty hand session so I think that's contributing to this wear quite a lot.
