New HBO series by Jonathan Nolan and his wife based on the 1973 film. Stars Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood and Ed Harris.

Watched the first episode and it looks very promising. I read they've mapped out 5 seasons.

Looked good. Will watch more.

I watched Quarry last night. I wasn't surprised to learn the director also did Banshee. Ripper show that and I think Quarry will be good too.

I was waiting for it & grabbed it after it was released given it's an HBO series & seeing who is involved in it.
No idea when I will get to watch it.

Keep an eye on your favorite websites. 2nd Episode is airing in the US to avoid going up against the 2nd presidential debate.

Banshee is batshit brilliant. Loved it from start to finish. That fight between Burton and Nola, wow!

This show is pretty dang good but I can't as yet see how they can possibly get 5 Seasons out of it. Shall be interesting + The lass playing the main android is ridiculously lovely.

I figured at least one of them would be a host but I picked the wrong one out of that pair.

There's also a theory that the William/Dolores story arc is from the past and that he may be the MiB, who keeps coming back to the park trying to get through the maze because that quest failed. Or maybe the MiB is his black hat co-worker trying to get through the maze because William succeeded and he wants whatever William found.

So is he talking to another host when he talks to his wife?

Heh or is he in "dream" mode and the other person is performing a self awareness test making sure he's still in line ;)

Yeah, could be one of those loops hosts do at the start of their day.

Wonder if Ford has been killing workers and replacing them with hosts so he has control over them. The new host that was being created in that lab might be a replacement Theresa. We know Bernard has been closely studying Theresa for a while. Some think Bernard might be Arnold as well.

The next season won't air until the end of next year or the start of 2018 :(

I've been thinking those theories have merit too.

A couple of big theories confirmed in episode 9. Now we know who Arnold is and pretty sure who the man in black is. Very, very cool show. Lots of stuff just clicked into place. That photo of William's fiance has hung around for a while too given Delores's dad found it many years down the track.

I'm really enjoying it. The quiet menace of Hopkins is what sells it for me.

I was hoping they'd follow the movie and do the triumverate of Medieval World, Roman World & West World. Instead it would seem they've gone with Samurai World.

So, we never saw who Ford was making in his private lab. I guess we need to wait and see if Anthony Hopkins appears in the cast list for season 2 (in 2018 :()

I read somewhere that the producers said the half-made body in the lab was just set-dressing. It wasn't supposed to be anyone in particular.

Of course they would say that...
