Yes I've been there and if you go to Abu Dhabi and have an interest in cars and especially Ferrari's then it's definitely worth a visit.
The roller coaster is unreal, it's short and no loops or crazy stuff like that but the first time you have a go and it takes off at the start is definitely an 'oh shit' moment, the acceleration is crazy. I had to have a second go and believe it or not I actually sat next to Pastor Maldonado (I was there for the GP).
As you first go in there's a merchandise shop, fuck me is that Ferrari merchandise insanely overpriced. At the GP I was sat near a couple who were fully decked out from head to two which would have to have been a couple thousand worth each.
There's a lot of what you might expect from an amusement park, all Ferrari themed, a bunch of simulators where you can do some laps of Yas Marina and a large motion platform with half a body of a GT car and a massive curved projector to also do some laps.
There's Ferraris all over the place with some iconic ones like an F40 and the like.
As you can see it's a huge indoor structure and even that alone is quite impressive.

A while ago yeah. When Yas Marina was brought onto the calender or somewhere around there. Would certainly love to visit.
