Toyota will likely also exit.. Just imagine if they didn't and lost to a privateer or LMP2.
If the news is true its a big shame

No surprise to me that LMP1 is now dead.
To be honest WEC will be just as good as the LMP2 class exploded this year & I suspect will continue to grow for a while yet, they are great looking prototypes & provide excellent close racing.
Then add the cross-pollination to IMSA making it more attractive to run LMP2 moving forward.
