Yeah Norbs messaged me about it. I think the hosts have turned on cloudflare on the account and it's caching the sessions. It's being looked in to.

I have spent a shit load of time today chasing this. I hope it is fixed.

I just got a norb upgrade as well. Only on the board index though.

ctrl+shift+R got it back to normal.

The issue is still around. I just connected as Righteous. Maybe all the live cookies need to be purged?

Yeah, I thought I fixed it but still seems borked.

It seems to of shown you as another person, but when you post.. it goes back to the account it was logged in as.

We're working on it. The hosts have buggered it up. Getting them to fix it is another matter....

It sounds like you guys are onto it but if it helps any the only people I seem to get logged in as are also in the Avatar Auto Racing group you set up for our team.

Going off Kev's most recent chat to the server support it seems that they've added a 'feature' that is fucking everything up and it can't be disabled unless you move up to a more costly hosting package. Dirty bastards.

Is this feature called 'data insecurity' by any chance?

Something called Varnish. Sounds like it should polish your forum experience, not root it.

Weird shit for me too. Login doesn't work but says it has, but then doesn't, then does, then I can't post but it looks like I can.

I'm getting all sorts of weird caching issue, but seemingly not my own cache either, I was woodsey, then I was speed...
First it started with me getting logged out, and getting just cached pages all the time, I thought it was due to my installed uMatrix privacy ...

As it is, there's some aggressive proxy in the way it seems.

The only way I can actually use the forums is hitting CTRL-F5 on visit, then logging in, then it's fine, with the occasional extra CTRL-F5 on searches. Pretty annoying

by the way, this sub-forum does not show up on the "active topics" list!

likely there are lots of little wrinkles caused by Varnish. Be patient, we are trying our best.

Varnish is not a great idea for a forum where every page is customised. Surely the load from this forum is tiny?

But we're on a shared server so it'll be the cumulative load that it's controlling.

We're looking at moving to cloud hosting where we can turn it off. I've backed up the database so nothing will be lost. ARSE will live on!
