Anyone else sick of the constant chatter from the Australians in the field? The shit they spouted yesterday trying to put the Indians off was just mindless shit you'd expect from 7 year olds. It's driving me mad.

7yr olds are much better behaved.

They all do it.. Kholi is a master at it. The batsmen take it as a compliment, it's a sign that they are frustrating the bowling team.

Was a great final day yesterday. Just a shame Pant didn't get his 100, he deserved it, was great to watch him batting.

I've thought a few times recently that maybe teams shouldn't be able to "retain" a trophy, every time a series is played both teams either need to win the trophy or neither team gets it and it's kept by a third party until the next series. For example for the current series if neither team wins then the trophy is kept by England, SA or one of the other main nations.

Personally I don't like how retaining the trophy is a goal for teams and is almost like a win, in the last Ashes the aussies celebrated retaining the Ashes as if it was like a win and then they basically threw away the last test. Now in this series we have India playing for a draw in two consecutive tests. I think the emphasis should be on teams to win a series and the trophy rather than not losing.

That was a great game considering that they had the water boy, towel boy and team gimp bowling :D They hung in and we could not get those 10 wickets.

Yep mightily impressed by the Curry Munchers. They dug in like ticks and would not be dislodged.

Our bowling unit was pretty spot on too, aside from an erratic Starc so they can't be blamed.

Paine's captaincy was frankly terrible all series and he should be gone, but won't be. The latest in a shithouse cavalcade of skippers since Waugh. Unlike the others however his play doesn't leave let much to recommend him either.

I would dump a lot of them to be honest. Wade, Green top of the list and as always fuck Warner.

Again, bloody well done to the Indians they deserved that all the way.

Well done to them, I was too quick to assume they were going for the draw but gotta give it to them for going for the win and pulling it off. Apart from that one batting collapse they've generally been the better team

Great drama, they're going for a win... a draw... a few wickets earlier could have changed everything... wd Pant, gg!!

India just proved that we, being Australia, really do need to start giving people a go in the test team and lose this right to be there because this player is such and such. We aim for a stable team and I get the benefit of that but give a couple of outsiders a crack and not just for one spot and see how it goes.

Stay classy Jamo.

You'd think Wade was on shaky ground. Starc should get 2 tests per series. Lyon cant have long to go either.

Fragile batting, curious captaincy, dropped catches and off song bowlers.

Imagine how they would be going with out the fidget twins and Cummins.

He should have never been captain or even in the team. CA should be ashamed of themselves for this. This is a another reason why the women's game is so much better. There's no shit, no drama, none of this acting like fucking pigs. It's cricket how it should be. :bang:

They need to dump Payne now.

I agree about Payne.

But, if the people I know in the cricketing circles are right, there is some drama behind the scenes with the women's cricket too. Possibly not as shitty, but drama none the less.
