Yes I know but I always forget to look there first. Having steam is convenient but makes one lazy too.

I gave it a run after a few stages of Dirt Rally 2.0 and it was ok but I enjoyed Dirt Rally far more.

Most games I've downloaded of late are about 25 GB. VR games are double that and forced me to get another HDD.

Do not buy it. I forgot Codemasters is latin for fucking shit!

I got to a point where I couldnt get out of some weird fucking camera mode and had to kill the task.

The fucking menu system is fucked. The FFB is the worst I have ever experienced. Going for refund.

I found it to be ok for $22 but I would never pay full price for it. I found it easy to navigate the menu's as they do the same thing in Dirt Rally. I did enjoy the older F1 cars especially the late 80's and early 90's. Those Mclarens were nice to drive.

Assassins Creed Unity is currently free on Uplay.
As the smoke clears on the events that unfolded on Monday at the Notre-Dame de Paris, we stand in solidarité with our fellow Parisians and everyone around the world moved by the devastation the fire caused. Notre-Dame is an integral part of Paris, a city to which we are deeply connected. Seeing the monument in peril like this affected us all.

In light of Monday’s events, we will be donating €500k to help with the restoration and reconstruction of the Cathedral. We encourage all of you who are interested to donate as well. In addition, we want to give everyone the chance to experience the majesty and beauty of Notre-Dame the best way we know how. For one week, we will be giving Assassin’s Creed Unity away free on PC, for anyone who wants to enjoy it. You can download it now for Uplay PC here: http://assassinscreed.com/unity-notredame/ or get it directly on the Ubisoft Store here: https://store.ubi.com/

When we created Assassin’s Creed Unity, we developed an even closer connection with this incredible city and its landmarks – one of the most notable elements of the game was the extraordinary recreation of Notre-Dame.

Video games can enable us to explore places in ways we never could have otherwise imagined. We hope, with this small gesture, we can provide everyone an opportunity to appreciate our virtual homage to this monumental piece of architecture.

Does anyone know if Steam gift cards, like at Woolworths, are ever on sale? Want to give a few out at Xmas.

Isn't that double-dipping? Put the gift card on sale, then wait for the game to go on sale and use the gift card on it. Win-win!

I have never seen a Steam Card on sale. IIRC, the last time I went to buy one, they weren't giving us the right money in return because of exchange rates. That was nearly 2 years ago

If you like top down strategic shooters, DoorKickers is currently on sale for the princely sum of $4.34. It's brilliant.

KC:D is a good 60 hours just for the story and sidequests. The combat isn't for everyone though.
