Plenty of new liveries and the new Commodore looks vastly different.

Dick Johnson Racing will run Mustangs as of 2019.

Here's an idea of what it might be like. My hope is a V8 and not a turbo 6. It's got to sound like a beast.

Yeah, it's going to have a 5l V8. I think it's great. Gives Ford a clear path forward.

Holden on the other hand don't really have anything once the large family salon sales die.. unless they started importing the Corvette.

Is this a potential future "Holden" entry?

So many Ford smart arses this year having a dig at Holden for running a German car. Even Scott McLaughlin mentioned it in Tassie. They'd better shut their mouths now.

I agree with you but I'd says that they had to stretch the body to fit into V8SC regulations.

In a way they're just going back to the old Torana and Falcon coupe days.

Ford's head-start on Mustang aero
Ford has released a teaser of what its Mustang will look like when it hits the track in Supercars trim next season.
The concept sketch, penned by Ford Exterior Vehicle designer, Nima Nourian, depicts a Supercars version of the 2018-model Mustang that will be homologated.
Ford’s illustration has been presented with a livery celebrating Mustang’s 54th birthday, which coincided with Tuesday’s announcement of the Supercars project.
The final look of the car's aerodynamic package will not be set until after Supercars' homologation testing, which is likely to take place in December.

Zak Brown is keen to see Camaro's in the series. Walkinshaw might be the first Camaro team in time with their resources.

888 are the factory team with the contract to develop, homologate and supply all the other Holden teams with parts so they'll either all run them or no one will.

Craig Lowndes will retire from full-time Virgin Australia Supercars Championship competition at the end of the 2018 season.
One of Australia’s most decorated and admired athletes, Lowndes made the announcement on Friday morning at the Watpac Townsville 400.
Lowndes has 652 Supercars starts, 106 victories, six Bathurst crowns, three championships and five Sandown 500 wins to his name.
He will continue as a co-driver for his Autobarn Racing Team and Triple Eight Race Engineering, the team he has been with since 2005.

Retro livieries for Sandown starting to come out.
Cant wait for the 500 but will be sad that it will be the last time I get to see Lowndesy live in a full time drive.
