Did anyone here buy the original Odyssey? This Odyssey+ is on sale for $299 USD for Black Friday but I'm not sure how to order one to have it shipped to Aus.

From what I've read it seems it's better than a Rift but not enough of justify upgrading from one. 299 makes it tempting though. bhphoto have it listed for 499USD.

Yeah there's a few options, well many actually but a lot of these freight forwarders in the US have mixed reviews. The Samsung website also requires payment with a US card so the freight forwarder needs to be able to make the purchase for you as well which a lot of them do. The one that seems the best to use is Planet Express, the total cost would be ~$500 AUD but I think I've decided to give it a miss, if anything goes wrong with the headset there's no warranty or anything so I'm shit out of luck.
