Shadow - Cloud based cross platform gaming/computing

Gotta say, the seamless switching of devices and latency speed is pretty darn impressive.
Only limiting factor would be our piss poor internet speeds and if the service is even available in Australia.

How long before we don't own any games/software and rent it all on our fully datamined dumb terminals?

So what is that about $581Aud a year for system rental/membership, + your own internet-data plan.

Not bad if you do actual work with it

100ms latency in ideal conditions makes me think it won't be worth it at all,

*EDIT* Doesn't even include games in the price, that ruins it completely for me

Well it's meant to replace the need for a high powered pc or allow you to play pc games on other platforms, not be a game subscription service.

It's interesting but I think it's a bit of a non starter for us here in Aus unless they install a data centre here somewhere, otherwise the latency might be too high for gaming.
