Incident in F2 qually as well when Galael stopped on track and while the marshals were pushing him away he decided to try and start the car!! He's been disqualified from qually and will start last.

Hill and Chandok look odd together because Hills knees bow out and Karuns bow in.

Chandok is trying to be serious and the F1 expert where Hill is casual and his turds have more F1 experience than Chandok.

Well that was eventful!!

Yeah I looked up Chandhok thinking he'd done quite a bit but he's only done 11 GPs. I trust Ted's expertise more than his!

Damn 2hrs to get through Qualy.
Let's hope it's not a precursor for the race but it's been a theme this weekend so far.
And given the grid is a little mixed up compared to what was expected it could get quite tasty.

Much as I admire the decision to give Kubica a go, he just isn't up to it. I was watching the time gap on the last 15 laps or so and he lost 20s to Russell in that time.

Im close to giving up on F1. It's a joke right now. Constantly talking up Ferrari to make it sound interesting only for it to be fake news.

It's like Ferrari is try to push Leclerc as far down the order as possible. Or they are idiots on strategy.

If they had pitted him right after the others on lap ~20 he would have been 3rd.

I hope Danny is enjoying his cash because it's going to be a long season!

Had high hopes going into this year after testing looked promising. Its pretty much impossible to find it interesting now given how that last 4 races have turned out.

I hope 2021 is going to make a difference, but knowing F1 im starting to doubt it... Even then, 21' seems like an age away.

The product on offer is pretty hard to get excited about these days. I couldn't give a rats arse how technologically cutting edge the power plant is, if the racing (and I use that term loosely) is shit it simply doesn't matter. I know aero and tyres play a huge part in the package but fuck me F1 is a hard sell these days, even for a lifelong fan.

Yeah wasn't a classic as it's been in the past. I still think they need to do more with the tyres. One stop strategies are really boring because the order basically doesn't change and there's no scope for different strategies.

Ferrari are losing it more than merc are winning it I think. They seem to have a fast car but keep messing up the strategy. Everyone could see Leclerc losing time hand over fist but they kept him out and by the time he came in it was too late to make up 20s in 15 laps. Merc have now pretty much got double the constructors points of Ferrari already.

Barcelona next. That's traditionally a boring race. Roll on the rest of the euro ones.

Onto what tires tho?

He had no new mediums and the softs were dead after 10 laps. He only had one set of hards and in guessing used those in practice.

Wasn't an option to do anything else sadly.

They need softer tires, medium should be the hard. But even then softer.

Softs lasted a great amount 12 lap.

To me the issue is Ferrari have a rocket but only in a very fine window & in certain conditions. While Merc has the fast all-rounder resulting in their 1-2 consecutive finishes each round.
Merc were especially lucky at Baku with the Qual delays severely affecting Ferrari's, especially the lower air & track temps.

For me the key take out from Baku was the respect the Merc drivers gave each other at the start of the race. I can't remember a time where Lewis was so polite, almost like he knew it was a done deal & that Bottas had his measure.
It will be interesting to see how that dynamic develops over the next few races & whether much will change once they get back to Europe...

As for Dani Ric, WTF!!!
