Bush trips appear to be broken. It's not registering your landing at the end of the leg. Luckily I'd only done a short one.

Well it is clearly CPU limited at most resolutions up to 4K, once @ 4K it starts to show how good it is.

Clearly? Why? My CPU is sitting at about 30-40% most of the time. I cant imagine it is going to go to 100% with the new card. Well i hope not. And that is without boosting. Still got to sort that shizzle out since a Windows rebuild.Duke wrote:Well it is clearly CPU limited at most resolutions up to 4K, once @ 4K it starts to show how good it is.
Only look to the right of the yellow, that's when FS was running.
PS, i dont run at 4K.

Suggest you check out the reliable Tech youtube channels to get the explanation, the CPU doesn't need to be 100% on all cores to be the bottleneck.norbs wrote:Clearly? Why? If not running 4K then there is not as much benefit over the 20 series in certain games/situations.
by the way I just purchased a Galax 2070S for $584, bargain considering it was still $849 only a week ago.

Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020!
Is it me or is the throttle part of HOTAS kind of redundant ? You don't change the throttle input enough but as I said it could just be me.

Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020!
True, you don't need to have your hand on the throttle all the time so it's not hugely necessary. Having one on the base of the stick would be fine as a big convenience over using keys.
Main advantage of a separate throttle is they give you more buttons to map stuff to. I find it easier to remember button mappings than keys and it's a big help in VR of course. For space games people often go for a second stick instead of a throttle for easier 6DOF input.

Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020!
This bug only affected trips started before the 1.8.3 patch. I just restarted mine by deleting the mission folder from c:\users\...\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\MISSIONS\ACTIVITIES and the first leg worked. Not sure I want to do the whole nevada trip again, but I probably also need to get it done before the next patch just to be safe. I should have done a leg before deleting just to see if it had been fixed in the new patchDarrenM wrote:Bush trips appear to be broken. It's not registering your landing at the end of the leg. Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020!
The only bush trip patch note is about the back on track feature showing the wrong airport. The bug I had was that was when landing at the right airport it didn't properly end the trip. NFI if it was related and there's a reddit thread implying the landing bug wasn't fixed so I figured what the hell.
Then I remembered how long it took to get where I was and realised a 20 min trip to just to make sure wouldn't have been so bad

Same here.richo wrote:Anyone having issues using the marketplace? It's grayed out .
I had an internet interruption when the download was at about the 8GB mark (less than 1GB to go). The download wouldn't restart, so I tried restarting the program. On restart it acted like it was complete, but the marketplace is now greyed out. Also, in my one test flight, the Garmin 1000 in my Cessna 172 was blank.
