Online shopping post-Chrome flash support

Post by smithcorp »

I can't do online banking or shopping at lots of sites now, with Chrome blocking flash. Bing seems to work (but screw that browser) - what's the options? Its most frustrating.

It still works in firefox but you have to manually enable the plugin whenever it gets called. I think that option will be gone later this year though.

You should message those sites to sort their shit out. Flash support has been on the chopping block for a few years now.

I had to double check the date of this thread. Surely there no sites still use Flash any more, let alone banks or e-commerce! It was retired years ago.

And I speak as a former Flash developer :)

What the? With JB, it just wouldn't progress to the payment details; and with CommBank no log-in pane. Strange. Maybe pilot error...
