This could be one of Ferraris worst performances at Monza in a long time. Normally they seem to be able to overcome a shit car with their decent engine.

They will be thankful there is no Tifosi to see it then.

While it is sad to see how shit they are now it just reaffirmed to me that they were playing funny buggers until they got caught.

I wonder how much of Vettel's downturn in mood and performances at Ferrari has been since he found out they were cheating?

He doesn't seem the type of bloke to be OK with it (Schumacher, however...).

Nissany: 1’22.826 after 25 laps
Latifi: 1’23.120 after 22 laps

Granted they may have been doing different programs but that's got to sting for Latifi being 0.3s down on somebody who's only done 30 odd laps in the car before.

So is there any worry about Renault's speed?

Not for me as the Ferrari was making it's pace from the exit of slower corners up to around 160-200kmh until they were forced to stop doing whatever it was that got them that terrific acceleration.
Renault's recent pace is all down to their low drag philosophy especially when compared to RBR & their high downforce philosophy.
Really hoping Dan can cause some more concern for Max this weekend, in so doing keeping the Merc honest too.

First time since 1966 that a Ferrari has qualified outside the top 15 at Monza.

Penalty for Hamilton. Not seeing a light at the entry to the pits isn't an excuse

Part one was boring and predictable, but part two was great! It would have been better if McLaren had won. I am looking forward to see these cars at Mugello next weekend.

I was not going to watch it this weekend, expecting it to be as boring as batshit.
10 Laps in I turned it on for a look see, the running order intrigued me so I went back to the start to see how they got there and watched the first 5 odd laps. Fast forwarded it to live just as the shit hit the fan!!!

Watched the restart thru to the end and went to bed at 1am. WORTH IT!!!

Was soooo happy for Gasly and Alpha Taurine to take the win. As much as I wanted to see Macca win again I thought is it was awesome to see a real underdog nab their 2nd ever win as a constructor (home gp was icing on the cake for the mechanics) and a driver take his first win after a really shit run with Red Bull and loosing his mate 12 months ago.

Cracking race. I would have loved Sainz to win though. So close to a double podium for McLaren.

Amazingly that's the 3rd double DNF this season for Ferrari. They're 6th in the constructors! What a total disaster and apparently Netflix were in their garage this weekend!

Mental race with an awesome podium. So happy for Gasly especially as I hope it shoved it right up RBR's ARSE, especially Helmet the cock!!!

Did anyone else think the first SC was completely unnecessary?
Why did they decide to throw a full SC instead of a VSC as they only needed to roll K-Mag's car back a few meters into the gap of the armco fencing.
Hate to think it was a call so they could spice up the race as it was already turning into another boring event till then. Umm...

LeClerc's crash was massive, I was surprised he was able to get out unscathed when seeing the live footage but shows how good all the safety is these days.

Bring on Mugello & Imola later!!!

Apparently someone in Finland had a 20 cent bet on the podium and walked away with 33000 Euros

One of the podcasts or after race things said they had to push it back tot he pits because there wasnt enough room to get the car and marshalls into that area. Who'd know.
