That does sound plausible to be honest. It was weird how far he dropped back given Perez was able to stay up there.

Interesting to read too that Hamilton made a call to put on worn inters because that set had already been through the graining phase so when he came back out he didn't have 10 laps dealing with it and that's when he made up the most ground.
