Is anyone giving this a go? I'm addicted as hell to it. I have paid for a server through Gportals and throwing it out there if anyone wants to play. If we get enough (4 players or more) I think we could start another map as the current one is a bit all far between all the resources.

Hit me up for the server name and password in PM if you're interested. Ugoki (Syncanix) myself (Ooggar) and Shonky are playing currently.

I'm addicted as well. I've started playing with another group and we're up to the swamp, but it's not a dedicated server. Would be cool to join yours for when that's not running instead of dropping back to single player

Once you get portals going the distances aren't too bad. Unless you die a long way from base before making a portal like I did last night. That's going to be a long nudie run to get my gear back.

I know a couple others grabbed it. Might just need a little group session to get everyone up and running. Can have up to 10 on a server.

I spent a good number of hours getting a nice little hut built and then went a bit far exploring, was killed by skeletons then was annoyed enough with myself I deleted the char and the world. Time to start again.

Shonky, my wife, Sybcanix and myself rolled a new seed today because our other one was big distanced between biomes. This one has been good so far.

It's a dedicated server too with 6 more slots available if anyone is keen. Run directly West from spawn and you'll see where we are. We're progressing to Bonemass (3rd boss) when everyone is on. Just need to rekill Elder and Elkthyr on this map. It's free build so build where ever.

There's been a bit of lag on the dedicated. I have a Gportal server that I've rented (runs out in a few days) and we can migrate the server to that if you would like norbs? 10 slot server.

Might be worth a look. I think there are a couple of things you can tweak on the server.

A lot of the big builds are using my iron & wooden beams.

No one seems to be playing on the server much, just the same 4 nerds.

I come and go to have a look around. I am still searching for your place.

Also, it is one reason I am reluctant to get a hosted server. Interest tends to drop away pretty quickly.

You can add the server as a favourite through View>servers>favourites from the main steam page.
