RIP Murray Walker

Post by Big Kev »

What a legend this man was. I'd have rather seen him knighted than Hamilton.
One of the voices of my childhood. He made even a boring race sound exciting. And from all the interviews I ever saw with him, a very loveable man and loved by everyone in the paddock.

Couldn't agree more. You could argue that without Murray F1 wouldn't have gained so much of a following in the 80s and 90s.

Thanks Murray!

No doubt having a scotch with James right now. Quite the innings.

Was sad to hear it this morning. Definitely an influence in why I watched races in the 00s.
