I'll be able to watch this live for the first time in years.

Obviously the race will be painfully dull so I'm wondering what jobs I can get done while the race is on in the background. I have a Raspberry Pi and a temperature sensor thing that can connect to it so I might have a go at that. Or there are some boxes from when we moved that could do with sorting out.

Spare a thought for us poor Aussies. The races start around 10:30pm to 11:30pm and you fight the urge to fall asleep every race these days. A rounmd like Spain, and its the perfect cure for insomnia.

Now, hopefully since ive said this its a cracker!

Brundle was talking about the ridiculousness of not keeping track limits to just the white line referenced Indycar COTA 2019 turn 19 so I looked it up. This is taking the piss :)

I have watched a couple of seasons from down under so I honestly do appreciate the luxury of it all being suited for my Sunday afternoons. To be honest if I were you I think I'd just wait for the highlights. :D

Part of me thinks if I keep declaring how boring it's going to be, I'll tease fate into somehow making it a classic.

Better race than I expected, but still very little on-track action...

The strategy made it interesting, but the pass for the lead ended up being too easy.

Surprised they brought Bottas in early enough to give Verstappen a hotlap again. Wonder if he'll be there next year if he's decided to stop following team orders like that.

Max was a sitting duck and he knew it.

I kinda wish RadBull pitted him for the softs and rolled the dice. If they could have retained track position at the time they could have chewed up Hamiltons tyre advantage with dirty air giving them half a chance of the win.

It was disappointing to hear them say to Max "this is like Hungry again" and not reacting only to have it play out and loose the win. I guess they had little options, was quite early in the race to make a two stopper work with their only set being soft vs Mercedes having two sets of medium at their disposal. So maybe it was just wishful thinking on my behalf that they had anything to race Mercedes deep into the GP.

Mercedes made Redbull look a little silly in the end.

They had to react immediately as lewis was cutting into the lead as soon as he made the stop.. very disappointing that they didnt :(

Mega drive from Loowis, to hold his nerve & believe in the strategy & get the win shouldn't be underestimated.
His pass on Bo77as was harder & more legit than the pass on MV... LOL!!!

Credit to Merc, they out-smarted RBR this time as they had in mind to keep an extra set of Medium's the whole weekend.
RBR didn't have the tires to react to it hence why they kept MV out & then jumped at the chance to get the fastest lap extra point.

Stand-out for me was LeClerc, he has that Ferrari dialed up to its max potential it would seem.

Good to see Dani Ric doing much better at a familiar track too, best of the rest this race in reality.

Also how mega was the 5 car scrap for 10th place at the end???
