Shame he did it a couple of years too late. He was incredible in his prime, now he's just making up the numbers.

As Woodsy said , couple of years too late .

GOAT barely describes his GOATINESS .

I really dont know how I feel about him, While he might be known as the GOAT im not sure I feel the same.. I think the sport evolved and he kinda fell behind, combine that with things like the Ducati move, the staying to long in the sport in the past few years its really tarnished my view on him.

Maybe Casey knows best :)

I'm still sad he didn't switch to F1 when he had the chance. Such a rare opportunity and it was a good time to do it in his career.

I feel Covid has ruined he's goodbye year from the sport. If last year was a normal year with crowds then I think he may have ended it then.

He has changed his style so much across the years. From 500's and across 4 generations of MotoGP bikes. You can only go for so long and he pushed the bar so high that these young riders now are bloody amazing and seem so fearless. The current bikes would be a beast to ride even with electronics. They would push your body so hard and Rossi has done well just to keep going.

Hopefully they can have a full house at Misano as it will go off!
