He hasn't looked genuinely happy since before he dated the Pussycat Doll. Ever since then he seems like he's trying not to be miserable.

Might be wrong but he also had a bit of a black American entourage at that time which seemed toxic. Brought out the race based victim mentality which wouldn't have helped his happiness. Could just need a new partner though.

BREAKING: Max Verstappen has been handed a 3-place grid penalty at the #RussianGP for causing a collision in Sunday's race at Monza

The Stewards heard from the driver of car 33 (Max Verstappen), the driver of car 44 (Lewis Hamilton) and team representatives, reviewed the video evidence and determined that the driver of Car 33 was predominantly to blame for the collision with Car 44 at Turn 2.

Car 44 was exiting the pits. Car 33 was on the main straight. At the 50m board before Turn 1, Car 44 was significantly ahead of Car 33. Car 33 braked late and started to move alongside Car 44, although at no point in the sequence does Car 33 get any further forward than just behind the front wheel of Car 44.

During the hearing the driver of Car 33 asserted that the cause of the incident was the driver of Car 44 opening the steering after Turn 1 and “squeezing” him to the apex of turn 2. The driver of Car 44 asserted that the driver of Car 33 attempted to pass very late and should have given up the corner either by backing off sooner, or by turning left behind the kerb.

The Stewards observed on CCTV footage that the driver of Car 44 was driving an avoiding line, although his position caused Car 33 to go onto the kerb. But further, the Stewards observed that Car 33 was not at all alongside Car 44 until significantly into the entry into Turn 1. In the opinion of the Stewards, this manoeuvre was attempted too late for the driver of Car 33 to have “the right to racing room”. While Car 44 could have steered further from the kerb to avoid the incident, the Stewards determined that his position was reasonable and therefore find that the driver of Car 33 was predominantly to blame for the incident.

In coming to the penalty the Stewards emphasise that they have only considered the incident itself and not the consequences thereof.

I reckon that one was a racing incident so harsh on Max. Lewis could have given him more room, Max could have backed out of it (I wonder how Max feels being on the other end of one of those squeezes?). Halo proved its worth though.

Awesome for Dan and Lando. And Valtteri actually had a decent race from the back instead of being stuck in traffic forever like he usually is when coming back through the pack.

Dan's move in T1 saved us from a snoozefest!

I said at the time, when Hamilton said "They are trying to stop me" that is was a strategic thing to say, especially at the times with the BLM front and centre.

The sheer hypocrisy of him saying "he pushed me wide" on lap one was astonishing. Short memory has our attention whore.

No penalty for a 50/50 at Silverstone that put his main rival into the barriers at 250kph. A 3 grid place penalty for MV for taking both of them out at Monza.

He might be a WC in a car, but he is a Solar System champ at playing the victim.

Lewis did get a penalty at Silverstone though. It may not have ended up changing the result but it happened.

And you can view the hypocrisy both ways. Max saying Lewis didn't give him room? Then what did Max do on lap 1? Or at Imola. Or in Spain.

I think both drivers should have given room in their respective encounters and would call this one as a 50/50 whereas Britain was definitely more in Lewis's hands.

Although the fact that even Horner was calling this a racing incident before the steward's ruling probably tells you who he thought was actually going to cop a penalty if one was given.

Im not defending MV. Im still not a great fan of his.

As for penalties, when a penalty doesnt actually penalise you, is it still a penalty, or a gesture made to look like something was done? But yes, you are right Mick, he got a penalty, albeit meaningless.

It seems to me that MV has gotten under LHs skin, and LH has decided he wont be bullied anymore. Which I think is terrific, because I dont think this will be the last time they show each other affection.
