Brilliant front 3 actually. Russell did it again but so pleased for Lando. He can win tomorrow if he stays in front at the first corner.

Normally he's immaculate but there's been a lot of mistakes this year. Even Mazepin didn't hit the wall or spin on a quick lap. It's so rare to even see him spin.

He will still be in front of Max though. If he can hold him up for long enough that could ruin Red Bulls chances.

Bottas had a new engine at Monza so you wonder if that's a tactical move.

Yeah. You gotta think you're only 5-6 mins away from the chequered flag, can you hang on long enough to avoid a pit stop. Tough call to make. His time will come though.

Horrible to watch him throw a race away like that but he kinda brought it on himself. Like Mercedes they tried to bring him in but he told them to shut up and then said they had to commit to it. Lewis at least accepted the teams final call and it worked out for him. Experience counts in situations like that.

Teams used to put spotters out from the circuit so they'd know for sure what was about to hit the track. Wonder if Merc had someone out there while other teams just went off the radar.

The weather was coming in from the sea. Not as easy to park someone out there. I think it would be a mistake to think that if you gave several groups of people the same information that they would all come to the same conclusion. It may well be that it was just a lucky gamble, not better intel. In hindsight a stroke of luck looks like brilliance.

I will say that I found that the most riveting race I've seen in a long time. There was a lot going on way before the weather came in to play.

Mental end to what was already an enthralling race. Poor Lando...
This championship just has that feeling of going down to the wire. I think there'll be many more mistakes made by both Merc & RBR before it's decided.
Either way it could be an epic ending to the current car / regs.

Our boy got into F1 last year which was bloody good timing - it is possibly the most thrilling season I've ever seen. It almost makes me wish they weren't changing the rules next year because it might bring in a new period of dominance for one team.

That's Leclerc, Russell and now Norris who have all had victories taken from them in the most dramatic circumstances in recent years. It's been so Hollywood since Liberty took over...
