I cant wait for them to take away tyre warmers. The decrease in temp this year already has the drivers thinking.

Watching LH have to man handle that car after the stop was excellent. Fuck knows how he managed to keep it going straight ahead.

Im surprised no one picked up on MV's issue and it being pit stopped related. The cars seem to hit the ground a lot harder this year. Maybe the stiffer suspension and lower profile tyres.
Sarc ; my second favourite type of gasm.

Did anyone else think the start of the GP was pedestrian, seemed like now one wanted to push the limit?
Guessing no-one wanted to damage the new cars maybe for lack of spares given they are on a fly away with Jeddah this week.

While it was great to see the battle between Charley & Maxie it was evident especially on the 2nd lap that Max just chucked it in hope as his tyres where not up to multiple attacks one after the other.

So while it was an OK first race I'm not yet convinced the racing spectacle has fundamentally changed.

Yeah I kinda felt the same way, like the race was good but I dont think it was worlds better than what we could have expected with last years car. As norbs mentioned the cold tire stuff was good, so even further reductions in heat will be fun their.

Worse case if its just a case of using this rules to make it less of a Merc/RB fest, then im ok with it, but im not sure im ready to call it a huge success.

The cars don't look like they'd be all that enjoyable to drive. So stiff and smacking the ground on every bump.
