Jeez there's a lot of people there this year. Moving around the track is a nightmare. They do seem to have improved the food and toilet situation though.

Was cool seeing F2 and F3 for the first time. They certainly move around a bit more than F1. Hopefully the races are as entertaining as qually was.

Both a blessing and a curse to have not been able to buy tickets over the last two years... Unable to get to the event of the year, but then happy to not be a sardine at, to and from the track.

Hope you guys are enjoying it, and also kinda happy to see Sam kicking goals in TV land.

Well fark me, I have no words but surely there are easier, quicker & better ways to call the race over... The right decision has been made but just seems a total waste to fire the cars up again.

That was the stupidest thing I've ever watched in my 30 odd years of watching F1...

I wonder if they have to do that lap because there's a possibility someone could breakdown or slide off which then correctly changes the result.

Eventful!
Max is taking the piss moaning about Hamilton 'pushing him off'. He didn't exactly go across the grass. Max has done worse to a lot more!

I assumed that it was because the GP had not hit the 2hr limit so they were obliged to finish that last lap, even if it was trundling behind the SC.

What a shitshow. A mob of fans got over the fencing before the race finished.

This bastard was very lucky.

Haven't checked in since the event. Farking Melbourne weather aside and waiting ages for trams, it was pretty good. My eldest's first time going and Sam came through for us on the Saturday morning with a sneaky little paddock tour.

Was a little disappointed with the off track stuff in terms of car manufacturers this year. Ferrari had their cars locked up in their guest pavilion otherwise it was pretty much just GMSV displaying their wares.

Gaps between on track action were just too long as well. I guess a consequence of F2 and F3 being there but routinely 50mins to an hour between the end of one session and another whereas it used to be 15 to 20 minutes for the supports. Image
