I must admit I'm surprised crypto.com is still throwing money around. I thought that bubble had burst.

Not a great race. They need to do something with the layout or the tyres there I think. It's not really working.

Sky were saying Max was being told the net position times on the radio every lap and Perez was being told nothing. Horner even said Perez has the lap time on his dash, he only needs to do some maths. Seems a little biased to me!!

If Perez wants to make a fight of this, he needs to grow a pair.

Oh dear, F1 want that terrible driver announcement thing at more races....
Formula One drivers have issued a chorus of dissatisfaction with the sport’s new pre-race introduction, which was given its inaugural presentation at the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday. Many have described it as an unnecessary distraction so close to the start of the race and an unwanted addition to an already overloaded work schedule.

Lando Norris was emphatic in regards to what he insisted was a universal dislike of the introduction. “None of the drivers like it,” the McLaren driver said. “We do so much publicity for the fans [but] as drivers we all just want to sit down and focus on what we need to focus on and not do so much TV and everything. It’s a business at the end of the day so it’s what we’ve got to do but adding more and more stuff like this, no driver likes it.”

“There’s no other sport where the athletes do so much stuff before the start of the race or event,” said Alfa Romeo’s Valtteri Bottas. “There needs to be a limit at some point.”

It is understood F1’s intent is to evolve the concept to deploy it at up to seven further races and that the sport did receive positive responses to it from several drivers.

It was so fucking awful and went on for so bloody long that I had to mute it. I messaged my mate to ask if he was watching and he said he'd also muted it. :D

It does seem a ridiculous thing to make them do right before they have to get in their cars and for what? Who is it for?

Its for new fans that have no idea who they are which is silly in my opinion. If they care, they will do what any normal person does and they will take interest and learn.
