Great Qualy & an interesting grid apart from the pole winner.

I can't help but think a lot of teams have caught up after seeing the undertrays of the front runners, especially at Monaco...?

Good for us punters. :D

Was screaming at the TV at 1am when I thought Mclaren bottled the whole thing..

Overall a bit of a snoozer race at times, but it had its moments

Pretty sure you can't just bolt on a Red Bull style undertray as it wouldn't 'work' with the rest of your aero package but it's good to see the others catching up. They're able to bring regular updates where RBR aren't. The trouble is they will finally do it with about 3 races to go and it'll all be over in a month! And then RBR will have access to the full cash again for next year.

Max can already win the title by finishing 2nd for the rest of the season even if Perez won them all and got fastest lap.

Great to see McLaren back up there. Hopefully it wasn't just a track specific improvement.

Yeah it needed the rain to hit the track cause it was a snooze-fest apart from the opening few laps.
Was crazy that you couldn't really hear the cars for the whole first lap, it would have been an electric atmosphere in person.

Piastri got the raw end of the SC as I am pretty sure he would have got the last podium spot but that's just how the cookie crumbles at times.
The Russell & Gasly passes around the outside were pretty epic albeit on newer /softer tyres.
Sainz moving under braking was really poor form in my opinion, he is showing how desperate he is at trying to get results these days.
As for Stroll & Gasly

What was very interesting was that most of the tyre compounds had very similar performance, which is very unusual particularly for Silverstone.
Maybe the weather had a lot do to with it, lack of UV???

But they can learn a lot about how the DF is being generated. I heard someone mention somewhere that Mercedes has built a digital replica of the RBR under-tray from the pics taken in Monaco.

They must have their reasons, but I would've loved to have seen Oscar have a go on the softs...
George ran his softs for 28 or so laps and deg gets less as more rubber goes down. Fourth was still a great result!
