Max is obviously going to win the race but the McLarens are looking quick. There might be yet some good news for Australian fans this weekend.

Rain always helps but that was an interesting race, despite the result.

It's amazing how fast Perez was when he dived in early for inters. You have to wonder how he didn't win it after that. He was nearly 15s clear at one point!

McLaren badly need a strategist..... just don't get one from Ferrari I was willing Lando to box when the rain first hit but he stayed out 2 laps too long.

Yep great race, paying for the tiredness today haha.

But your spot on with Mclaren, they have really been hopeless of late, seem to always been a step behind..

I never understand why these teams make soo many mistakes, I get it when theres weather variables, but surely for dry races these days they build models and then have compute workout when the right time to pit is..

I really thought when Lando didn’t pit, Oscar would. Really poor. Surely sometimes you need to take a risk with 1 but not both drivers. Either way is a risk but have a crack.

Checo must be a bit down that the team do not care for his desire to win races.

Yeah thats what surprised me the most, you really don't want to double stack (especially in that pit lane) surely if your Oscar's team and you know your going to get disadvantaged if you have to pit the next lap you would just pit earlier. the whole being on the right tyre at the right time.

As for Checo, why wouldnt you prioritise Max.. Its clear Checo isnt going to beat him on a normal day, Max is your preset and future and you know he is touchy.. if Checo isnt happy im sure theres a bunch of drivers who would love to come to RB even as a #2.. (dan anyone?)

Considering almost exactly the same happened when Lando was leading at Sochi and they kept him out and he went backwards you'd have thought they would have learnt from their mistakes. You could could see from the TV pictures that it was bucketing down and even if it stopped after 2 minutes the track would be wet for a while. The rooster tails were huge.o Lando could have won that race. And yes you're right about Piastri, at least box one of them, especially when Perez was taking lumps out of everyone even in the first sector out of the pits.

Even if Perez wins the rest of the races and Max is 2nd, Max still wins the title. If Perez hasn't realised it already, they really don't care about him! I could see DannyRic being back in there next season.

I was out for a family meal so missed the first part of the race. I wasn't too bothered because I didn't remember Zandvoort being particularly eventful previously and Max was clearly going to win.
