Round 1. Thursday 1st December.

Well fellers, the time is near. Thursday night at 8:45PM AEDST (Sydney time) we will be qualifying for round 1. The race will follow straight after qualifying. Qualifying will be 1 hot lap. So you get to go out and do 1 out lap and your second lap is your qualifying lap. Whilst guys are qualifying, the others are expected to sledge like they have never sledged before. Once you have crossed the finish line for your hot lap, please go to spectate mode.

Race length : 26 laps with 1 mandatory pit stop any time.

Anyone who still isnt sure about pit stops etc (Smiss & Macca) we will have another praccie run tomorrow night.

Any questions or suggestions?

I'm assuming (hoping) that message blocking is banned? :)

And are we going so far as to allow a bit of deliberate bumping or are we doing the whole clean racing thing?

Teamspeak is a good idea for those that have it set up. For some reason it goes a bit whacko on my PC.

NO message blocking! Thats an instant ban. :)

Racing is clean please. It is a fun series, but would be good to have good clean racing.

I had a quick look at the AAL (i think) 'racing rules' or whatever they were called and it mentioned things like no weaving on the warm up lap to get heat into ur tyres etc..are we being that strict? would have thought that was the whole point of the warm up lap if theres only 1 hotlap (although it did list it under rolling start).

Standing start, so if you want to use lap 1 as a warm up, weave away my friend. :p

Cool found it, got autodeleteded, for some reason the word "mandatory"
was on my bad email list.
Think it was from an old bank scam email I set to go straight to the bin.
