Yeah I know - I wish I'd checked the forum before leaving for work today. I might have to go home at lunch to get the download going.

Will you guys be running a GTP series? Hopefully one that n00bs could join??? :tilt:

dunno what ATR will do. Im almost tempted to join the deEL for some serious enduro racing :) pity about time zones
may i be allowed to ask if there are any Teams here that may fancy entering the dEEL season to start in Feb using nascar2003/Redlines GTP Game.
its Team Based Endurance Racing full distance 1000km and more not for the faint hearted, but as a Team with other drivers using the same car in race it is a right blast,we were using the nascar2003 TA Mod,but will be venturing into uncharted territiory with RedLines GTP,so im hoping its gonna be great fun as all will be on a level playing field with regards to car setup and they differing fuel usages, current web site for the league is
HERE

If you are in individual Driver"not in or formed a team" then this invite is for you to join my Team SBRC,in these events which runs once a mth,
information on current teams entering this season can be found here
HERE
Timing:
Once a mth/Saturdays" as usual" race start 11.30am U.K.Time
Length:
1000km or more/depending on track. including 2x24hr events during the season.
Server:
U.K.Server P4 3.0ghz,800fsb,2x80gigh/d@7200rpm,2gig ram, backbone conn"100-1000mb" unlimtied bandwidth, pure race server , no web data on it carfiles will be loaded to other sister server.

mail me VALLEYSBOY@SBRC.uk.com or
MSN valleysboy@sbrc.uk.com
Thanks for your time...VB...
Im sure VB wont mind me pinching a post from elsewhere and quoting it here :)

w00t. Went home for lunch and kicked it off (gotta love living 2k's from work). Some mirrors are up and running now so didn't need to torrent it. I hope I can get some online racing done in this. I'm still searching for my next online racer really.

It'll either be this, GTR or S2. :tilt:

New VROC client beta has been released to support GTP too.

So far it only supports GTP but the plan is for it to support GPL and NASCAR in the one client which will be excellent.

Get it here.

Wow - gonna take some getting used to compared to GTR. I like how you can feel the road surface better in GTR but it's still easier to tell what the car is actually doing in GTP - good old Papy engine. :)

They've done a massive amount of work to NR2k3 to get it looking like it does in this mod. Excellent stuff. :tilt:

I had a belt round Spa at night today on-line. Was good fun too. This has got me interested in on-line racing again. VROC was a pain in the arse to get going but I finally got there. Though I would have liked to have seen a Porsche 962C rather than a Mazda 787B. Porsche's were the main stay of the championship for its life span so I cant understand why they didnt put one in the mod. I hope they do at some point.

All I did was go to the VROC website and started to read. It took about 5 minutes for VROC to start as it was downloading which is why it looks like its doing nothing after you first start it. After that I've had no issues getting on-line to race.

Mick, try deleting the "VROC" folder in your "documents & settings" folder.
It seems it gets left over from the install.
Then it downloads the rest as Dr Pain said.

Thanks mate - I did that and it worked. I got one brief appearence at Spa in the dark. Couldn't see where I was going so was just lucky to stay on the track most of the time.

So, we gotta organise a run together in these babies sometime...
