I don't know how many people know about it but I was directed to this website http://www.pandora.com. The idea is you put down at least one musical influence and then it will start trying to find material you might like to listen to. The more influences you put down and the more you rate what you're listening to, the harder it tries to find music you like (sometimes too hard). If you sign up it will keep your preferences. It's been an interesting distraction in the background for me.
