AADrift League track talk!

Today a few of us went scoping to tracks for the AA Drifting league starting early next year.

Ive come up with a sections I feel would suit a league, in order for the sections to be picked, they needed to be.

Not too long, and not too easy,

With those simple things in mind, so far we have

Fern Bay Gold Rev
Start line > through the tight right, left, right, left, under the bridge and through the double right hander.
One of my favorite sections in LFS, great to drift and the double right hander should sort the men from the boys.

South City Long forward
Start @ http://img206.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... art0gb.jpg
Make your way into the next right hander and through the double left which leads right into the sbend, should provide some close racing and most of all damage a lot of cars who doesnt get it right.

South City Long Reverse
Starting @ http://img207.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... art6wq.jpg
You would make your way down the hill, into that right handed corner, this is one of the best corners in LFS, if you manage to get it right you can link that right up to the next corner, then you can go into left and down to the tight hairpin to finish.
Another hard one, should come down to who can get that first corner right/

Aston Hist Reverse
Start @ http://img207.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... art8jg.jpg
This is just past the first split, you would make your way though this fast right handed bend, left and down the little dip and back over the top, you should be linking into the next two right hand corners on the way out, would finished after this.
This is the high speed one, should be something different.

KY National
Still working on the exact section, I like last corner in reverse, but it isnt really long enough, so perhaps some objects should help, so perhaps a little s bend or something good after it

I decided the series will have 5 legs and a final, the final will be a full lap of

Fern Bay Club
Great track, and im sure the top guys shouldn't have an issue linking the whole track up :)

Before I go ahead and announce the comp/format, What does anyone think? Any better tracks/corners? Anyone object to any of the tracks/corners mentioned?

Thanks nutty

My only question is where do you sign up?

Looks like a nice collection you sorted... A few easy tracks, balanced by a few harder ones

looks good nutty.

I especially like the idea of fern club, its quite tricky to link hte little back straight section, great choice for the finals.

Compared to round 1 and 2, rounds 3 and 4 look really short (only three corners)..? could these be extended?

round 3 is really hard, so itd be better to be left short.
and round 4 could be extended, but then you'll have some long straight sections like the last event.

Yea, Round 3 is really really hard so its fine.

I dont mind round 4's length, I think everyone will be fairly susprised, its not as easy as it looks and the high speed will be a challange
