Email coincidence???

Post by Cutter »

Got 2 emails from a U.S. engineering forum, good thing it wasnt Sunday night around 7.30pm.
Although I'm not a betting man, I'd have blown my house on this.

dunno if its the same at all. but since i've had broadband, the amount of spam that i recieve has increased 10 fold.
i wonder if its really telstra sending the spam, trying to convince me to use their filtering products. for a fee of course.

don't think its telstra. since I moved to broadband, well actually, to telstra, my spam is nearly zero. I give a yahoo or msn email when registering with sites, except for a couple of sites that I trust. not something I did when I first got on the net years ago and it just kept coming.

Same thing as Steve. I've had my Telstra broadband for over two years and I don't receive any spam - never have. You just have to be careful who you give your email address to.
