Updated here Nige - there won't be a 4th season, Milch passed on the 6 episodes.

On June 5th 2006, HBO and creator David Milch agreed to have two two-hour telefilms in place of a fourth season, after Milch declined to a short-order of 6 episodes. This is due to the fact that in the show's original form, each episode was one day in the town of Deadwood. The final two-hour format will release these time restraints and allow for a broader narrative to finish off the series.

So there will be something at least.

For anyone who's watching this - did you see Ep 5? Most amazing, event-filled episode ever in this series. Amazing stuff.

I have not had time to watch this season. I am getting them though, and will watch them at a later date.

One of those moments when Font and Image all really work. I am rather pleased with that avatar.
