Bathurst lan\internet event

Post by Speed »

Hi guys,
I'm running a Bathurst Lan/Internet race on Saturday October 7th.

I’m hoping to use the rFactor V8 mod which hasn’t been released yet.

If we do use rFactor, I hope to be using the XGN server & opening the event up Australia wide.

If we end up using GT Legends it will be a lan only event, using GTC-76 cars & the MMM Bathurst track.

As far as format is concerned, we will be having 2 races, the first practise to commence at 2:30 Perth time, 4:30 EST

Practise 30 minutes.
Qualifying 30 minutes
Race 1 hour 30 minutes.

Break for BBQ.

Race 2 practise to commence at 6:30 Perth time, 8:30 EST

If you have any queries, would like to come to the lan or take part in the event email me at wjoyce@iinet.net.au
:)

I'm not sure if I understand correctly, it's the day before the race.

If the V8 mod isn't out yet, (though I'm pretty sure it will be), I think that most people coming to the lan would prefer GTL.

so are we going to cream ourselves during our first play with the mod or is the extended wait on release going to result in an anti-climax?

Your's sincerely
Derryn Hinch

Sorry to hijak your thread there speed. Anyway I'd be keen for a run if you decide on using the Internet/rFactor combo

O.K. well lets just assume that the Bathurst Lan/Internet event is going to take place. The Lan definitely is.

It’s probably a good idea to take nominations now.
Email me with your car number preference & racing name wjoyce@iinet.net.au & whether you will be attending the lan or online.
First in, best dressed for car numbers (might be an idea to include a second choice in case someone has already registered your first choice in the meantime. Lan entries will have precedence over online entries for race spots.

Please advise if you will only be available for one of the races.

I will be imposing penalties for over aggressive driving.
Perhaps a 1 or 2 place penalty, (depending on severity), at the end of the race unless the offender redresses positions, in an effort to keep it all friendly.
If you have a grievance, email me with the incident, lap, corner, driver etc. before 12:00 of the next day.
Final results will be posted.

Check here for entry updates http://www.xtremegamingnetwork.com.au/F ... stcount=40

Format:
Sim used = V8Factor
2 Races

Race 1 practise to commence at 2:30 Perth time, 4:30 EST
Practise 30 minutes.
Qualifying 30 minutes
Race 1 hour 30 minutes.

One & half hour break. (approx.)

Race 2 practise to commence at 6:30 Perth time, 8:30 EST.
Practise 30 minutes.
Qualifying 30 minutes
Race 1 hour 30 minutes.

The will be NO race restarts.
