I've never used speed sens. steering in any game since I have the DFP so that's definitely not it. :)
I'll try the others
Surprise, no sig. Now there is. Or is there?

Woooaaahhh these things on the Aussie tracks are rather cool, and yeah the speed sensitivity set to 0 makes a pretty big fdifferent to the feel.

@Nutty - a guy on the RSC forum had the same problem but he did a fresh install of rF and it solved the problem

make sure you are running version 1150. if you think you are, try a reinstall. The cars will go white with any version below 1150

But this mod alone is worth it.
Get it, get it now.....

Big congrats to Gav and all the team, fricking brilliant.

Best version of Bathurst ever, scary real going over skyline.
That sold it for me, off to kick the credit card in the nuts.

My only comments to new rF buyers is be prepared to do a fair bit of tuning of the settings to get the best out of it, you'll need to do a bit of FFB and controller tweaking to find out what suits you best.

I also suggest you forget trying to compare it LFS because its completely different in it approach, you'll also need a relatively beefy machine to get the best experience.

Also make sure you get the CDTP F1 2005 mod, even if your not into the F1s you can also install the Motec data plugin which works with any mod and allows you to capture race data and import it into the Motec Software.

rF is a little heavy going early on and there is a wealth of mods and downloads out there but stick with and it will grow on you.

The F1 mod and Porshe Carrera mod are also brillient.

Regarding the V8's any clues to stop the rear constantly trying to overtake the front end? I've tried understeer approaches, various suspension and gearing tweaks. Seem to get cronic oversteer and I have spun backwards into the wall more times that I want to remember coming onto Conrod. Its a diff issue I'm sure but I know SFA about diff setups.
Any help most welcome:)

You just need to learn how to drive these cars, Coopz. My biggest problem is understeer - I find it incredibly hard to get it turned in. For corner exits you need to be very careful with the throttle. As cubits has suggested at RSC, try learning the cars somewhere else at an easier track. Bathurst itself is a bitch. I've found you don't need to change the setup there to get decent times - 2:10s on defaults is very do-able.

and Mick is right. The default at Bathurst is very driveable. If you get down to 2.10 and looking for more time, ask for a set up then :)
