*NEW* GSA XGN rFactor server up! V8s!

Thanks to Diggazz over at the XGN Gaming Network, he has put up an rFactor server complete with the V8 mod installed. Only Bathurst running at the moment but more Aussie tracks to come. The server has been passworded to stop the wreckers and to try and keep the pings low.

To get the password, please register at the XGN forums and then go to XGN Racing Games>XGN rFactor section. Or click the link below... :)

http://www.xtremegamingnetwork.com.au/F ... .php?f=297

All the details are there. I apologise if it seems a bit odd to do it this way but we agreed that passwording the server was for the best. The server will also be open to bookings for comps or leagues for those who are interested. But first we really need people to use the server as much as possible to ensure it stays up, if no one uses it the bandwith will go some damned FPS shooter game! AND WE CAN'T HAVE THAT!! :eyepop:

Once again big thanks to Diggazz and XGN for doing this, it is much appreciated.

Excellent news. Good job Diggaz and XGN.

Edit: I'm up for giving it a test run, damn public servers have been annoying to say the least.

Soon as I can get some new tracks on I will. Sorting that out with Diggazz as he has to download and install them. But it would be good to get some numbers on the server to test it out.

Quick heads up, 3 new tracks on the rotation (well 4 if you include Barbs)!

Mallala
Bahrain
Jianding

I have a thread on XGN outlining what tracks you need to download to use the server:

And Barbagallo is up on the rotation now too :)

Thanks to Claymore at XGN for installing, setting up and helping me check the tracks out. Thanks a heap mate!

To get the pass for the server you need to be registred at the XGN forums. Link in is the 1st post I believe.

Then PM Acerlyte once you are registed there.

Missed this last night....but jumped on SE1Z's server and had a couple of races over there.............. best I did was a 1:07.5 so I'm thinking I'll be little off the pace tonight.

I've seen 6's :melt: I reckon I can do those 7's quite consistantly and comfortably without much risk during the race however.

But I'll just be working on getting away cleanly and NOT making any mistakes as oppossed to all out pace.

Loud Howard and Gizmo were in the low 6's last night. LH recorded a 1:06.1xx :melt: I'm in the low to mid 1:07's all day long, although i did (just) manage to get into the 1:06's

I'll be around your pace i think... I'm doing low-mid 1.08s with a mid 107 pb.
