V8Factor League

Post by Gizmo »

Ok fellas. The time has come, so take the wife out to dinner or buy her some flowers so you can get another weeknight to sit in front of a computer screen and play games! :eyepop:

I was thinking about the alternate Wednesday to AAL LFS or every Thursday evening.

Round 1 Hidden Vally 48 laps
Round 2 Pukekhoe 56 laps
Round 3 Barbagallo 56 laps
Round 4 Jiading laps TBA
Round 5 Symmons Plains 60 laps
Round 6 Bathurst 100 laps (driver change)

Qualifiying will be held in the last practice session instead of the qual session. This way we can have a top ten shootout.

So lets get an offical show of hands and what car you'll be driving.

I'll be driving Rick Kellys HSVDT car.

Why bother with Albert Park?
Seven has closed the chapter of V8's racing there again. :tilt:

Unless there has been an update with Mallala overnight it was CTDing for me yesterday. Same place, each time so unfortunately I don't think we can use it just yet.

So if all the 'REAL' racers are driving how did you manage to sneak in? :bike: :D

hmmmmm It would seem much more appropriate that I drive HRT #2 then our taunts would mirror those of the real series. :tilt:

Well I downloaded it from the completed tracks section of rFactor Central just yesterday so I assume so. Can't say I know for sure because I can't even complete the out lap on it before it CTDs. I figure they are probably working on it now.

EDIT: A quick spy at the rFactor Central site and it would seem a fully fixed version will be released Friday. Well if the comments are anything to go by
