$580 delivered.

They are on ebay a bit cheaper, but i'd rather deal with a PC shop for something like this, in case the card was faulty.. etc..

nice :)
yeah, the nVidia traditionally has a tad different picture from the ATI, can't put my finger on it, but the ATI's picture somehow feels a bit nicer.
But I can't say it's a big difference.
Surprise, no sig. Now there is. Or is there?

Some more info for anyone considering this card.....

I have run a few tests using fraps and V8Factor with my own 1 lap replay: http://tinyurl.com/yjr5ft
(in case anyone is interested.... In car view, maximised, start fraps as the lights go green, stop when I cross the line. )

Everything maxed out, 4xaa, 8xaf, 1280x1024

The thing I found, the faster your cpu, the better the results. Makes sense.... but I didnt expect the results to be so far apart, especially the 'min' value.

P4 3.2 - stock speed

Frames: 4817 - Time: 82075ms - Avg: 58.690 - Min: 34 - Max: 74

P4 3.2 @ 3.7

Frames: 5353 - Time: 81576ms - Avg: 65.620 - Min: 53 - Max: 80

Something to consider if you wish to upgrade your AGP card.

Bought this card today on Se1z recommendation and is a MASSIVE difference from my 6600GT.........

Managed to grab it for $529 but had to pick it up, if you look on Shopbot and shopferret it can be had cheaper but they didn't have stock on hand or wouldn't allow me to pick up.

Let the gaming begin!!!

My results running Stevo's setup and replay
