No Sound
i've done all the hard work, putting it all together. installing windows, drivers, software etc. i copied all my music over from the old system only to find i have no sound.
i have checked everything i can think of, all the windows settings you could possibly think of, checked the BIOS menu. i even connected my iPod to the speakers to check they're no kaput and nothing.
im all out of ideas and want to listen to music, but alas i cannot.
anyone got any ideas.

I had the same problem. I just stuck in the old SB Live card I had laying about. For whatever reason the OB sound card would not work, and I didn't really feel like rebuilding the system all over again just to get the sound working (ie take it back and get them to replace the MB). So I just stuck in the old SB Live card I had laying about. That sorted it.
