So we going to create an ARSE guild? Would be good because you can have 'guild chat'

not yet. As i said in a different thread, we will just wait a little while until the novelty has worn off. When it does, we will see how many are playing regular rounds and go from there.

Guilds

Guilds are limited when started, with very little function. As experience is earned, 10% will be translated into Guild Points or GP. When the GP gets to a certain number, the guild will "class up". When a "class-up" is accomplished, new functions like such as abilites to expel members, abilities to recruit more members, and abilities to promote a sub master. The classes are G, F, E, D, C, B, A, and S. G being the lowest. The class up process is designed to take an extensive amount of time and effort.

The last line says a fair bit. It is supposed to be a long process, not a flash in the pan.

Yep, and i'm thinking that while everyone is still in the intial stages of 'omg, a mmorpg golf game' we can accumulate points towards the guild and hence raise the class of the guild.

Boy this game is like sim racing. Unless people get off to a great start, they bail out. And they go into the 1st few holes like T1 in a pickup race on a Bigpond server. Had a great game last night, 18 holes with Blues, JTM and Spoons.
Took ages, but was a great game. I heart NamChonCC.
Best round evar for me, finished +4 after 18 holes, heap of birdies, only 1 double bogey, leveled up 3 times and doubled my NGs. Must do it again sometime soon

You do it in your inventory, open that and your status window(I think). Then its a simple as transferring it across

1. open your inventory and your status windows.
2. click and drag your current hair from the status window to the inventory, and vica-versa with the new hair.
3. strut around the square and show off your snazzy hair-doo. Be extra suave when strutting past female golfers.

It's not bad for a freebie is it.

I've done the practice course a couple of times but not tried a full 18-holer cos I've only got a grand a bit of cash and it's 1000 to play a round although I'm assuming I could join someone elses game for free?

as a noob you can play (at least) Alfheim for free for 10 rounds I think??

and if you play with someone (and lose) you will generally get back more the 1000 monkey balls in bonus money anyway

Yeah I thought the cash was gonna be a bit tight but I paid my 1000 monkey balls and had a game at some course (forget the name) and won about 8 times my entry fee just for getting the ball in the hole! Nice
